How do I remove my iCloud information?Updated 5 months ago
If you still have your device:
iPhone or iPad:
Go to Settings, then tap your name.
Scroll down to the bottom.
Tap Sign Out.
Enter your Apple ID password and tap Turn Off.
Turn on the data that you want to keep a copy of on your device.
Tap Sign Out.
Tap Sign Out again to confirm that you want to sign out of iCloud.
Mac:
Choose Apple menu > System Settings.
Click your name.
Click Sign Out.
If you want to a keep a copy of your iCloud data on your Mac before you sign out, make sure that you select the appropriate checkboxes. Then click Keep a Copy.
If you want to keep a copy of your Safari passwords on your Mac, click Keep on This Mac.
If you have already shipped your return:
Please go to the link below and follow the instructions to erase and remove all data from the device via iCloud. Please DO NOT SELECT THE LOST or STOLEN option.
Sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID.
Go to Find My iPhone.
Select All Devices to open a list of devices linked to your account, then select the device to be removed.
Click Remove from Account.
